I am not a lover of movies. I have a really short attention span so sitting through a 2-3 hour movie doesn't work for me. (Much to the disappointment of my husband who LOVES watch movies.) Every so often I'll see a preview and be totally sold. Because I tend to love anything with singing in it I decided that I really wanted to see Pitch Perfect. Hubby was not at all interested so I made plans with my friend Beth and we headed off to see it.
I freaking loved it. Is it a cinematic marvel? Was the writing and acting superb? Not really, no. But I laughed out loud and after the big performance I nearly started clapping in the theatre. Plus I downloaded the soundtrack as soon as I got home. If you're looking for something light, fun and funny I totally recommend it.
And next time I post it'll be more than a movie/TV show review, I swear!
I also have a very short attention span when it comes to movies. Long movies are ok, but I have to be able to grasp what the movie is about as soon as possible after it started.
ReplyDeleteI definitely do NOT like movies where they sing all the time! I prefer drama and an interesting story, or something scary or things like that.
