My husband and I enjoyed a quiet Valentine's Day night at home this year. We had lobster and bacon wrapped scallops for supper and curled up on the couch to watch "Heroes" on Netflix. After dinner we exchanged our sappy cards. For me, it was the perfect Valentine's.
It's not that I don't enjoy a nice night out, because I do. I love getting dressed up and spending the evening out with my husband. But a relaxing evening at home, especially one where I didn't have to cook supper, was just what I needed. We headed to bed fairly early (we are trying to have a baby people...) and spent some time just chatting before we went to sleep.
I hope you all had a great day yesterday whether you're single, married or dating.
Happy Valentine's Day!! We did the same thing...dinner and TV and that was perfectly fine with me!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a low key valentines too. A fancy, but homecooked dinner, cards, and a COPS marathon haha. It was perfect to me!

The headed to bed early part cracked me up. I hope it was successful ;)
