Wife to Wife

I know, this is my third post today. (In my defense, it is only my 6th post this month...) But, I found  new monthly link-up that I wanted to take part in and I didn't want to wait until next month. I'm sure I'll be back to one a day (at the most!) after this.

 

The Ring:

 

As much as I would love to be one of those girls who could say my husband picked out my engagement ring all by himself and it was exactly perfect for me, I can't. We went shopping together and stopped at every jewellery store in the mall. I have really chubby fingers so trying on rings kind of sucked, I couldn't see how anything would actually look on my finger. I had spent lots of time looking at rings online and in magazines and thought I knew what I wanted. In the end I picked out something much simpler than I had imagined. In my opinion my ring is timeless and classic and simple. I've been wearing it for over five years now and I still love it as much as I did the day we picked it out.

 

My wedding band is a simple white gold band. I have short stubby fingers (no, really, I do) so I didn't want anything really busy. What makes my ring a little different is that it's what's known as a stove pipe band so the edges aren't rounded. I love the way my rings look together, and they really are perfect for me.
