Tuesday's Tunes

So, my music taste has always been a bit different from my friends. I've always been a total pop lover, and most specifically a boy-band lover. While my tastes have broadened somewhat now that I'm an adult, there will always be a spot in my heart for my absolute favourite boyband, the Backstreet Boys. I am totally thrilled that they have a new album coming out this month so of course I had to share their new single here today.

Um, so I am ridiculously excited right now and I thought I would share why with all of you lovely people out there in blog land. Can I just say first, that I love the internet? Seriously, best invention ever!

I may have been late to the party, but a couple years ago I borrowed my friend Beth's Veronica Mars DVDs. I devoured all three seasons. And when the last episode ended I went to put in the next disc and realized that the last disc was all extra features and that I had just seen the end of the show. I was stunned. And so disappointed. And I know I wasn't the only one who wanted more.

Well, it looks like we might be getting more! The Veronica Mars Project on Kickstarter exceeded its goal in two days and fans are continuing to contribute. (If you're a fan, and you haven't watched the video yet, you really should!)I'm disappointed that the merchandise can only be shipped to the US, but I'm still planning on making a $10 contribution.
